I love treasuries! I just don't have the time to make them (nor enough patience). But Betsy over at Cozy Corner Crafts makes great ones and often includes my items, isn't that sweet of her?!

Oh, you're gonna hate me! Gotta love an unplanned visit to the Goodwill that turns into the score of the week month (maybe) year. Here it is!

Yes! A gorgeous vintage Samsonite suitcase, in practically mint condition! Holy Smokes! I've had the matching make-up Train Case for years, a gift from an old friend. But this baby is too sweet!

And here's the kicker...

Oh yes, my fellow scavengers, that tag in the red circle says $5! No one in the store seemed to share my enthusiasm for such an unbelievable deal, but I'm getting used to that. I snatched it up, wedged it in a shopping cart, and guarded it with my life! But I didn't really need to. Apparently, folks at the Goodwill aren't as obsessive with eBay as I am. Lucky for me! Total geek.

I'm thinking this might get turned into a display piece for fairs and craft shows, as it's just too pretty to alter much beyond that. So, you might see it out in the world soon!

Nose to the Grindstone

Busy, busy, busy!  It's almost Spring, right? I've been hard at work-- putting together my new studio space (yay!) and gathering materials to make pretty things. Now I've got to hole up and crank it out! If only my hands will hold up (ouchy). Meanwhile, I've had some awesome custom orders! That's just enough to keep motivated and excited!

And then a woman contacted me about culling my junk piles so she could make robot flowers! How cool is that?! I love it. Hope she sends me photos.
